Terms of Service for SugarScan

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SugarScan mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

SugarScan grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your iOS device for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

SugarScan offers certain premium features via a subscription ("Premium Analysis").

• Payments: All payments are processed through the Apple App Store.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellations: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store Account Settings after purchase.
• Refunds: Any refund requests must be made directly through Apple.

3. Privacy and Data

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You understand that SugarScan uses your camera to scan barcodes and processes nutritional information to provide analysis.

4. Health Disclaimer

SugarScan provides nutritional information and sugar analysis for educational purposes only. The App is NOT a medical device and should NOT be used to diagnose or treat any medical condition, including diabetes or obesity. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, especially if you have metabolic health concerns.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind. SugarScan does not guarantee the 100% accuracy of nutritional data provided by third-party databases.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SugarScan and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App or reliance on the information provided.

7. Standard EULA

In addition to these Terms, the use of the App is subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
